Understanding Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM): A Gentle Approach to Cellular Healing

What is Frequency Specific Microcurrent?

To understand FSM, we first need to understand how the body works. The human body is naturally electric; our cells communicate and function using tiny electrical currents.

FSM works by delivering an electrical current measured in microamps—which is roughly one-millionth of an amp. This current is so small that it is the exact same frequency that your body naturally produces. Because it perfectly mimics the body’s own electrical fields, you cannot feel it happening. There is no buzzing, stinging, or muscle twitching.

Instead of forcing a physical reaction, FSM gently “whispers” to your cells, providing them with the energy and instructions they need to repair damaged tissue and reduce inflammation.

FSM vs. Standard TENS Machines: What’s the Difference?

If you have ever been to a physiotherapist, you might have used a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine. While both use electricity, they do very different jobs.

  • Scar Tissue & Adhesions: Specific FSM frequencies are designed to help soften tight, dense fibrotic tissue, assisting with post-surgical healing and restricted movement.
