Matt Dilges is a Consultant Therapist, Trainer, and Therapy Supervisor with more than 25 years’ experience working across public and private mental health services. He brings a depth of clinical, educational, and supervisory expertise to Goodsky, supporting trauma-informed, personalised mental health care.
Matt’s work is centred on identifying the core drivers of distress and supporting meaningful change through integrated, person-specific approaches. He is known for his ability to make complex psychological and neurobiological concepts clear and accessible, helping both clients and clinicians translate theory into practical, effective interventions. His clinical focus is on relational and developmental trauma, with a strong emphasis on creativity, embodiment, and meaning-making. Matt’s approach is grounded in attachment theory, developmental and systems theory, neurobiology, somatic experiencing, and personal transformation, supporting work that engages both cognitive and body-based processes. At Goodsky, Matt contributes specialist therapeutic input, clinical supervision, and consultative support as part of a multidisciplinary team, aligning closely with Goodsky’s emphasis on one-to-one, integrative mental health care.Matt has been recognised for his clinical leadership and contribution to mental health practice, including national research awards and peer-nominated recognition within public mental health services.
