Standard outpatient care is usually one therapist, one weekly session, focused on talk therapy alone. That works well for many people — but for depression, anxiety, trauma and nervous system dysregulation that hasn't shifted with standard care, it can leave gaps.
Goodsky's outpatient program is one-on-one and coordinated across a small team — psychotherapy, behavioural naturopathy, and where indicated, functional pathology testing — built around a single, personalised recovery plan rather than separate, disconnected appointments.
It's designed for people who have the day-to-day stability to manage their own recovery, but who need integrated, multi-layered support that goes beyond a single weekly session.
Goodsky's outpatient program is designed for adults and teenagers who:
It isn't the right fit for everyone. People navigating an acute crisis, or needing an immersive level of stabilisation, are usually better served by a residential setting or emergency support — if you're unsure, a confidential conversation can help map the safest pathway.
Goodsky's outpatient program supports adults and teenagers experiencing persistent or complex presentations, particularly where the nervous system is involved.
Including persistent or treatment-resistant depression, and post-burnout low mood that hasn't shifted with standard care.
Generalised anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and the chronic activation that often sits under sleep and digestion issues.
Trauma-informed, body-based support for PTSD, complex trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Chronic stress, burnout, and a physiology stuck in survival mode.
Structured support after a residential retreat or hospital discharge, to protect the gains already made.
An adapted pathway for teenagers navigating depression, anxiety, trauma or school refusal, with active family involvement.
Anonymised examples of how people have worked through complex presentations with Goodsky's coordinated, one-to-one care — each delivered outpatient or remotely, the same pathway described on this page.
Rachel worked through panic disorder and complex PTSD alongside autoimmune conditions and a significant medical history, in a program carefully coordinated around both.

Every outpatient program follows a structured pathway, tailored to your presentation and adjusted as you progress.
A comprehensive evaluation of your personal and treatment history, to understand what's driving your symptoms.
A plan built around your specific presentation, coordinated with your GP or treating team where medical input is needed.
Targeted testing through accredited labs — gut, hormones, nutritional markers — when it's relevant to your presentation.
Support for the biological contributors to mood and stress, alongside your psychotherapy.
One-on-one sessions with a trauma-trained practitioner, combining talk therapy with body-based approaches.
A single point of contact coordinating your team and tracking progress throughout the program.

Secure telehealth across Australia and New Zealand — psychotherapy, behavioural naturopathy, pathology testing facilitated through local labs, and case management, all coordinated remotely. Particularly suited to clients who are interstate, regional, or more comfortable engaging from home.
For local clients or those able to travel, in-person care gives access to Goodsky's full range of practitioners and physical therapies. Clients arrange their own accommodation and transport, making it a more flexible alternative to a residential retreat.
For clients navigating severe trauma or PTSD, combining virtual sessions with an in-person block on the Sunshine Coast is often recommended, as body-based therapies tend to be most effective delivered face-to-face.
Clients recovering from PTSD, complex trauma and adverse childhood experiences who need ongoing, structured support outside a residential setting are supported through Goodsky's trauma-informed, bottom-up processing approach — addressing the nervous system and somatic responses directly, alongside psychotherapy, rather than relying on cognitive talk therapy alone.
Advanced modalities including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and brainspotting, selected for your specific trauma history.
Evidence-based techniques to restore baseline autonomic function, including guided breathwork, HRV training and somatic awareness.
Identifying biological contributors to trauma symptoms, including inflammatory markers, hormonal imbalances and nutritional deficiencies.
A responsive, single point of contact coordinating all aspects of your therapeutic care.
For clients with severe or treatment-resistant PTSD who need an immersive intervention, the residential PTSD retreat offers the more intensive alternative.

For clients who've completed a residential retreat or been discharged from hospital, outpatient care provides a structured step-down pathway, so the gains made during intensive care aren't lost in the transition back to daily life.
The same team that supported your residential stay or hospital transition continues to manage your outpatient program.
Session frequency is adjusted over time based on your progress, rather than coming to an abrupt end.
Regular reviews with your case manager to track progress and adjust the plan as needed.
Telehealth check-ins continue for as long as therapeutically necessary.
For clients discharged from hospital or another facility, Goodsky conducts a comprehensive intake to understand your current state and build a transition plan around it.
Adapted for teenagers navigating depression, severe anxiety, trauma, school refusal or social withdrawal, this pathway provides structured, multidisciplinary care that fits around school and family commitments — without the disruption of a full residential retreat. Every teenager receives a personalised recovery plan, dedicated case management, optional pathology testing, and active parental involvement throughout.

Both pathways are built around the same multidisciplinary team and evidence-based approach. The core difference is intensity and setting, not the quality of care.

For people whose condition requires a dedicated therapeutic environment as a biological circuit-breaker, Goodsky's residential retreats offer an immersive alternative, run by the same multidisciplinary team behind the outpatient program.

No group programs or shared schedules — every client works privately with their own team.
A decade refining a personalised, trauma-informed model of care.
Wherever possible, Goodsky coordinates with your existing GP or treating doctor, and can arrange additional clinical input where it's needed.
Short, well-established questionnaires that can help you understand your current levels of depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD symptoms, or the impact of adverse childhood experiences. They aren't a diagnosis, but they can be a useful starting point for a conversation with us.

Learn more →Standard outpatient therapy is usually one therapist, one session a week, focused on talk therapy alone. For many people that's exactly the right level of support. For depression, anxiety, trauma and nervous system dysregulation that hasn't shifted with that model, Goodsky's outpatient program works differently: instead of a single practitioner, you're supported by a small, coordinated team working from one personalised recovery plan. That can include trauma-focused psychotherapy, behavioural naturopathy, and, where indicated, functional pathology testing, with a dedicated case manager keeping everything joined up rather than run as separate, disconnected appointments. Sessions are more frequent than a typical weekly model, and the plan is adjusted over time based on how you're actually progressing, rather than following a fixed, one-size-fits-all schedule.
Yes. Goodsky's outpatient program is available as a secure telehealth service across Australia and New Zealand, so you can take part from home wherever you're based — interstate, regional, or overseas. Sessions are delivered through a private, professional video platform with practitioners trained in trauma-informed and body-based approaches, not just standard talk therapy. For clients working through severe trauma or PTSD specifically, combining virtual sessions with an occasional in-person block on the Sunshine Coast is often recommended, since body-based therapies tend to be most effective delivered face-to-face. If you're able to travel or are locally based, in-person care on the Sunshine Coast is also available and gives access to the full range of practitioners. Which format suits you best is something we can talk through in an initial conversation.
Yes. Being on medication is not a barrier to starting Goodsky's outpatient program, and many clients begin while already taking prescribed medication for depression, anxiety or other conditions. Goodsky does not manage, supervise or adjust medication directly — that responsibility stays with the GP or psychiatrist who prescribed it, since medical oversight of medication needs to sit with your existing treating doctor. What Goodsky does do is coordinate with that doctor wherever possible, so your outpatient care plan works alongside your existing treatment rather than in isolation from it. If you don't currently have a prescribing doctor, or your circumstances change during the program, we can talk through what continuity of care looks like for your specific situation during your initial conversation.
Cost varies depending on the intensity of your therapy schedule, whether functional pathology testing or naturopathic support form part of your plan, and whether care is delivered via telehealth or in-person on the Sunshine Coast. Because every outpatient plan is built around the individual rather than following a single fixed package, we don't publish a flat price online — it depends on what your specific plan involves. The most useful next step is a confidential, no-obligation conversation with a senior member of the team, where we can talk through your situation, what a program built around your needs might look like, and what that would cost. There's no pressure or sales process attached to that conversation; if outpatient care isn't the right fit, we'll say so.
A senior member of the Goodsky team will have an unhurried, confidential conversation with you about what's been happening — there's no obligation attached, and no pressure to commit to anything on that first call. We'll ask about your history, what's been tried before, and what you're looking for, so we can get a genuine sense of whether outpatient care is the right fit for your situation before anything moves forward. If it is, the next step is usually a more detailed initial assessment to start shaping your personalised plan. If Goodsky isn't the right fit — whether that's because you need a different level of care, or something outside what we offer — we'll do our best to point you toward something more appropriate rather than trying to fit you into a program that isn't right.
