Peter Borham is a registered Medical Radiation Practitioner with more than four decades of experience in medical imaging. After a long career working within conventional healthcare settings, Peter transitioned into photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT), bringing with him a strong grounding in clinical science, safety, and evidence-based practice.
Peter’s interest in light-based therapies was sparked after reading The Brain’s Way of Healing by Dr Norman Doidge. He subsequently undertook extensive research and professional development, attending conferences and workshops focused on photobiomodulation and its applications in brain health, nervous system regulation, and recovery.
Photobiomodulation therapy uses carefully calibrated red and near-infrared light to support cellular energy production and neurological function. When delivered using clinically informed protocols, PBMT may assist with regulation, recovery, and overall neurological resilience.
At Goodsky, Peter works as part of the multidisciplinary team, offering PBMT as a supportive, non-invasive modality within personalised, one-to-one mental health programs. His approach is grounded in safety, precision, and collaboration with the broader care team, ensuring therapy is delivered thoughtfully and appropriately for each individual.
