Sharon Ledern is a registered Counsellor with extensive experience in creative, trauma-informed, and equine-assisted therapeutic approaches. She works with Goodsky as part of the multidisciplinary team, providing personalised, one-to-one support for children, adolescents, and adults within tailored mental health programs.
Sharon brings a strong foundation in counselling alongside specialised training in experiential and expressive therapies. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful healing often occurs through non-verbal, experiential processes that allow individuals to safely explore emotions, build self-awareness, and strengthen emotional regulation.
She has significant experience working in domestic and family violence services and supporting individuals across a wide range of life circumstances. Sharon integrates creative modalities such as sandplay, art-assisted psychotherapy, and expressive arts techniques to support therapeutic engagement, particularly where traditional talk-based approaches may feel limiting or inaccessible.
Sharon is also trained in equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning, using the EAGALA model to support emotional insight, relational awareness, and nervous system regulation through experiential work in a safe and structured environment.
At Goodsky, Sharon provides counselling and experiential therapeutic support within personalised, one-to-one mental health programs. Her role focuses on supporting emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and relational safety through creative, developmentally informed, and trauma-aware approaches as part of a multidisciplinary team.
